About Us:
Alexandra Park Library Community Choir was created in November 2009 by Sandra Menzies (Alexandra Park Library Manager) and conducted by Verónica Chacón . Later on, our pianist, Jérôme Royet joined us. We like to welcome any kind of person with a great desire to sing. As most of our 30 choir members do not read music, we have designed our website to help them learning their parts. This system combined with two hours of hard work every week makes us all proud of the result, the improvement is amasing: in a year and a half, we have been able to go from unisson carols to four part voices music...
Our target for the present year is to welcome more members into our choir (especially men), collaborate with other musicians and work on a longer piece of music for our July 2012 concert...
